The agreement.

adja is in private beta. These are the working terms. They will be replaced with a full Terms of Service before general availability. Until then, treat this as a good-faith agreement, not a finished legal document.

The short version

You agree not to abuse the service. We agree to run it carefully and let you leave at any time. Beta means it can break. We'll tell you before we change anything material.

What you agree to

Use it well.

  • - One tenant per real human or organisation. Don't share access tokens.
  • - Don't store unlawful content, malware, scraping pipelines, or other people's private data without permission.
  • - Don't probe, exploit, or attempt to break the service. Responsible disclosure is welcome at hello@adja.ai.
  • - Don't use adja to build a competing memory product. Build other things on top of it freely.
  • - You're responsible for what your agents store on your behalf.
What we agree to

Run it carefully.

  • - Keep your memories private to your tenant. See the privacy page for the full picture.
  • - Notify you in advance of breaking API or pricing changes during beta.
  • - Let you export and delete your data on request.
  • - Disclose security incidents that affect your data within a reasonable window.
Beta limitations

No SLA, no warranty.

  • - The service is provided "as is" during beta. We don't promise uptime, durability, or accuracy.
  • - We may pause, throttle, or change features as we learn. We'll communicate before doing anything destructive.
  • - We may suspend tenants that violate these terms or pose security risks to other users.
  • - To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to refunding any fees paid in the prior three months.
Changes & jurisdiction

Plain housekeeping.

  • - We may update these terms. Material changes go out by email at least 14 days in advance during beta.
  • - These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, where adja is operated. Disputes are resolved in the Western Cape courts unless we agree otherwise.
  • - If a clause is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
